Call for Papers

Papers are being invited for the “Program of the 5 th International Bioinformatics Workshop” to be held in Shandong University , China , June 24-26, 2007. Submissions of substantial, original and previously unpublished works are invited in all areas related to bioinformatics, computational biology and system biology. The topics of the workshop are typical but not exclusive, including computational genomics, bio-sequence analysis, comparative genome analysis, biological networks, computational proteomics, computational structural biology, computational systems biology, biological data mining, computational evolutionary biology, as well as algorithmic and combinatorial methods in bioinformatics.

Papers must be written in English. Submissions must not exceed 12 pages for regular papers using at least 11-point font. Additional necessary details may be included in a clearly marked appendix. All submissions will be fully reviewed by the program committee for significance, originality, accuracy and clarity. Papers accepted for presentation will be invited to special issues in International Journal of Bioinformatics Research and Applications.
