Research Interests: Professor Lai's group focuses on solving biological problems by using physical chemistry and computational biochemistry methods. They are working on protein structure and function prediction, the mechanism of biomolecular recognition and protein aggregation, protein design and structural and network based drug design by using combined approaches of modeling and simulations, biophysical chemistry studies and medicinal chemistry methods.
