Bailin Hao, Fudan University & CAS

Hao Bai-Lin was educated in Beijing , Kharkov and Moscow . He is currently Research Professor at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in Beijing and Head of the T-Life Research Centre at Fudani University in Shanghai . He is an External Faculty of the Santa Fe Institute. His previous positions include: Research Assistant, Research Associate, Deputy Head of the Theoretical Division, Research Professor, and Deputy Director at the Institute of Physics, CAS, Beijing ; and Deputy Director and Director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, CAS, Beijing . His awards include: Award for Important Achievements in Science and Technology, CAS; Award for Progress in Science and Technology, CAS; 2 Awards for Achievement in Natural Science, CAS; 2 National Awards in Natural Science; and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award in Physics. He was elected a Member of CAS in 1980 and a member of The Academy of Sciences for Developing Countries (TWAS) in 1995.
